About tivvio

South Africa's event ticketing and management platform for creators, founders, and community builders.

What is tivvio?

tivvio is a South African event ticketing and management platform built for creators, founders, and community builders. Organisers use tivvio to create professional event pages, sell tickets via Paystack, manage attendees, and check people in using QR codes — all from one platform.

It takes less than five minutes to go from an idea to a live, selling event page. Free events always have zero platform fees on any plan.

Who is it for?

tivvio is built for anyone running events in South Africa — music nights, tech conferences, community meetups, workshops, cultural experiences, and more. Whether you're hosting your first event or running a full events agency, tivvio scales with you.

How it works

  1. Sign up — no credit card required.
  2. Complete a short onboarding (about a minute).
  3. Create your event: title, date, location, cover image, and ticket types.
  4. Publish and share your event page link.
  5. Attendees buy tickets via Paystack; they receive QR code tickets by email instantly.
  6. On the day, scan QR codes from any phone browser — no app download needed.

Pricing

tivvio offers three plans:

  • Starter (Free) — 5% platform fee per paid ticket. Includes event pages, Paystack payments, QR check-in, and attendee management. No monthly commitment. Free events always have zero fees.
  • Organiser Pro (R299/month)— 2.5% platform fee. Adds discount codes, advanced analytics, priority support, and removes the "Powered by tivvio" badge. The plan pays for itself at R24,000 in monthly ticket sales.
  • Studio (R799/month) — 2% platform fee. Designed for teams and agencies. Includes custom event branding, embeddable ticket widgets, multi-team access, API access, and dedicated support.

Paystack's processing fee (1.5% + R1 per transaction) is passed transparently to attendees at checkout. Organisers always keep their full ticket price.

Where we're based

tivvio is headquartered in South Africa. Paid ticketing and payouts currently require a South African bank account via Paystack. Global paid event support is on the roadmap. Anyone can create an account and host free events globally.

Privacy & compliance

tivvio operates in full compliance with South Africa's POPIA. All payments are handled by Paystack's PCI-compliant infrastructure — tivvio never sees or stores card details. Data is only shared with essential partners: Paystack (payments), Supabase (infrastructure), and Resend (email delivery).
